Created as a fail-safe encase the Princesses were to somehow be wiped out, Solar Spark was deemed to be one of Equestria's cutest when she was a filly, and behaved in ways that could make most any pony go 'aww' without second thought. As she grew however, she changed quite a bit. Solar Spark grew to be stern, and decided to join the royal guard. She is the second youngest captain to date, and as very serious about the protection of her mother, aunt and her sister-cousin Midnight Sun.
